AC/DC & Iron Maiden Nominated For Brit Awards

In amongst the Kylie’s and the Duffy’s, there was actually some good news at yesterday’s Brit Awards nominations.

AC/DC picked up nominations for Best International Album and Best International Group with Iron Maiden picking up a nod for Best British Live Band.

Iron Maiden (who yesterday announced their movie debut) are going up against Coldplay, Elbow, Scouting For GIrls and The Verve for Best British Live Act. Seriously, would it not be the most ridiculous thing in the history of the world ever if they didn’t win? Seriously!?

The “Best British Album” award doesn’t include motorhead, therefore as ever, I don’t give a fuck. Although it’s good to see some real bands among all the poser shite.
