Amon Amarth have announced they will be playing a ‘different’ setlist at their Metal Hammer sponsored UK show and their upcoming European Tour, claiming:
“The long-awaited European tour has finally come and we can’t wait to play a full set featuring songs from ‘Twilight Of The Thunder God’ for our European fans. We’re really looking forward to being part of the ‘Full Of Hate’ festival tour with so many great bands — Obituary, Legion Of The Damned and Keep Of Kalessin plus special guests at selected shows.”
“We’ve got a bit of a different setlist planned for this tour so we’re looking forward playing some songs we haven’t done live very often. Obviously, some songs from the latest album, but also some older ones!”
“The upcoming months we’ve got a pretty busy schedule. Following the European tour, we’ll be heading back to the U.S. to play in most of the states we didn’t get to do last year. We’ll also be performing for the first time in South America. Afterwards we have a number of festival appearances throughout Europe and after that we’ll most likely have a break for a while and if we do any shows it will be in places we don’t get to play very often.”
“This year’s goal is to finally be able to perform in these places we have yet to perform at. If we don’t see you at the shows already arranged, hopefully we’ll see you at the shows that are in the process of planning.”
The band are also reissuing their first four albums throughout this year. The series kicked off with “Once Sent From A Golden Hall”, which was released on February 27th in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy and on March 2nd for the rest of Europe.
