Celebrate Iron Maiden Day On Hammer!
April 21st is official Iron Maiden day and we’re celebrating with a whole host of Maiden-related goodies on MetalHammer.co.uk – including something VERY exciting indeed!
Next Tuesday, metalheads around the world will pay homage to one of the greatest bands in the history of rock music on what will officially be known as Iron Maiden day!
Metal Hammer will be celebrating Iron Maiden day with a Metal Hammer exclusive in collaboration with Iron Maiden. It’s not a new album and it’s not any new tour dates but this is something really, really fucking cool. If you’re an Iron Maiden collector, you definitely won’t want to miss this one!

This news I ‘DEFINATELY dont want to miss’ has got me excited…. I’m assuming for now that its some sort of detail about the next album…
i cant wait 2 c Flight 666… i was so dissapointed i didnt get 2 c them on this tour which would have been so killer to c.. so hopefuly this gives me a tiny little bit of the experience of seeing them live. they r my alltime favourite band…. and being a 17 year old in Australia I havnt had many opportunities 2 c them.
When they tour for the next album they have to come down under again and go to EVERY CITY!!!! dont skip over Adelaide, even Judas Priest came here last year(which was awesome btw). I have to c Iron Maiden at least once in my life…. and they better pull out Rime of the Ancient Mariner just 4 me.. haha (doubt it)..

the capitalisation of DEFINITELY makes me believe they are announcing a UK show. we already know they are writing a new album… which is exciting too, but not as exciting as a show.
Work’s sending me up to Auckland on Iron Maiden Day for a course the next two days so I’ll be able to catch Flight 666 up there! And we’ll be the first in the world to catch the IM Day screening!
My hotel better have wireless so I can catch the BIG NEWS the next day (timezones sometimes good, other times bad LOL)

I reckon it may be a full UK tour and/or new album details.
They havn’t played since Twickenham and Download 07, but they havn’t done a proper orund the country tour since 2006!

hi as a life long MAIDEN fan was looking forword to flight 666 , but haveing paid money to go and see is v ery pissed of . is it just me or has MAIDEN forgot about the british fans that backed them over the years
