That has to be one of the worst PR plans ever. Very dissapointing. Go to Grasspop if you want a good fest. They’ve had the best parts of Download, BOA etc for the past couple of years. Only problem is going over to Belgium but well worth it.

Has anyone actually checked out Thunder before calling them crap??? And smash hits magaine?? Thunder have done bloody well for themselves considering they have no radio support! Thunder will put on an amazing show for u and im gutted i wont be there. Although other than this, sonisphere has it all

Oh fuck off all you complainers. What the hell did you expect? Seriously? Enter Shikari self-confirmed ages ago – I’m not happy with them myself – and yet you all react to them and Thunder as though those two bands suddenly make Download a crap festival. Get over yourselves.

At the end of the day, if they’d have been kept a secret, there’d have been greater disappointment for those who aren’t fans of either band. If you don’t like them, just go see someone else. Its really that simple.
