Exclusive! Slash Talks About The New Album, ‘Slash’
Metal Hammer spoke to Slash about how the amazing new album came to be…
Slash’s debut solo album ‘Slash’ featuring high profile collaborators such as M Shadows, Cypress Hill and Fergie is out in the UK in May, but Classic Rock Presents is selling a very special Slash fanpack on the newsstands from April 7.
The Classic Rock Slashpack will also be the only album version to include two extra bonus tracks: ‘Baby Can’t Drive (Alice Cooper/Nicole Scherzinger) and a wicked cover of the classic Guns N’ Roses track ‘Paradise City’ (Fergie/Cypress Hill).
The Classic Rock Slashpack will be available on magazine newsstands nationwide, in over 3000 non-conventional music retail outlets such as WHSmiths and all supermarket chains and many independent high street newsagents on April 7.
Roadrunner Records will be releasing the conventional ‘Slash’ album in the UK on May 10. The album includes brand new tracks from the guitar hero himself including collaborations from Alice Cooper, Chris Cornell, Kid Rock and more.

Open your mind ‘Destroying Dignity’. Fergie was great on the paradise city city cover So i’m sure these other arists will be good too. And its Slash, i think he knows wat he’s doing!

im looking forward to this album as slash is one of my favourite guitarist and Guns N Roses my favourite band, but if theres any songs that sound anything like that paradise city remake he did with cypress hill and fergie i wont be overly impressed to say the least

Destroying Dignity, besides having the shittest name ever, seems to always try and pick an online fight. When i post something, i don’t look back on the same page hoping someones replied to my comment.
