Yesterday, Faith No More announced that they will be playing Reading/Leeds. Now, the dates have been taken down and there’s been an update from Billy Gould. The plot thickens…

Faith No More have taken down the tour dates for Reading & Leeds that went up yesterday. According to a twitter posting from bassist Billy Gould: “Reading and Leeds: I’m getting conflicting info..at the moment agent will not confirm. Dates are off fnm.com site now.”

“The agent will not confirm”. Not exactly a denial, is it? It also contradicts his deleted post from yesterday, which read: “I didn’t want to post this until it was 100% confirmed, but because the demand has been so high, we’re going to come back for more UK dates. Reading 28 Aug… Leeds 30 Aug”.

The rumour is currently that the band will headline the Radio 1 stage. That’s a tent. Can you imagine seeing them in that tent!? Oh. My. Word.

Also worth mentioning is that FNM have officially confirmed a date in Paris on August 29th, the date that falls between the 2 dates they would be playing at Reading & Leeds. Paris is mighty close, no?
