To all those who keep saying “Oh it’s not GNR without Slash blah blah blah, it’s just Axl’s solo project”

Firstly, Slash didn’t make GNR, if you’re going down that road it’s not GNR without Duff, Izzy or Steven/Matt

But mainly, So what if it isn’t?

Just humour Axl, let him go on as GNR even if you don’t think he should and judge Chinese Democracy on it’s actual content, the music that comes out of it, who cares if Axl has hired a herd of goats to do backing vocals and Animal from the Muppets to do drums if it sounds FUCKING AMAZING?

At the end of the day, it could still be the original line-up and they could turn out a heap of crap, I’m not saying that would happen just that it could. Personally I’d rather Axl and his ‘hired guns’ produce a damn good album and we get that

I really like this new band that has been assembled. These guys now how to play together. Ax sounds like he did years ago. I’ll be the first in line to buy the New album when it hits the market. I just can’t wait. After all these years we finally get to buy the Chinese Democracy Album.

Axl is GNR man. take it or leave it. it’s love. You have to give them a fair chance. stop bitching and enjoy the new line up. i saw them live 2006. one word….fantastic.
