What are you most looking forward to in 2009?
Howard Jones: “I would have to say I am looking forward to the DVD release of the new season of Heroes, and the release of the “Pork Attack Sub” from Subway. Even the mayo will be made from bacon fat. Death by sandwich.”

Have you started writing the new record?
Howard Jones: “That’s a secret, and everyone in the studio said “don’t say anything!”!?”

When are you in the studio? (for how long?)
Howard Jones: “Dude, aren’t you listening to me? (Gives shifty-eyed look) I don’t know, it’s done when it’s done, you can’t rush magic so let’s just hope it doesn’t turn out with a tiger biting one of our necks and dragging us away AKA Roy Horn of Siegfried and Roy fame.”

When can we expect the new album?
Howard Jones: “Can’t say, but I’ll tell you this… we were considering using a DJ to blend all of our old songs into new ones. Looks like the idea was sacked, but keep on the lookout for “Vide Diver”.”

KsE seems to have really nailed its sound, will this be the case for the new album?
Howard Jones: “All new direction people, you are hearing it first…most of my vocals will be replaced with Obama samples. All backing vocals will be McCain. Album writes itself.”

Will you be touring the UK? Festivals?
Howard Jones: “We have made no plans, however I will be touring my kitchen in search of delicious curry sauces to spice up my protein enriched chicken dishes. Always a pleasure to hit up the UK, I’ll get our crack team of managers and booking agent on that ASAP… after chicken.”

Is there anything you still want to achieve that you didn’t on the last record?
Howard Jones: “The guest appearance of Neil Perry formerly of Journey. That will rocket us to the top of…stupid bands with awesome guest vocalists. Wow, nobody around for me to hi-five. Bummed.”
