Loved Anthrax from the day I bought the I am the Law single but John Bush revitalised Anthrax in the 90’s and Safe Home is one of the best Rock songs EVER.
For me the reunion was a mistake with Joey and compromised the bands integrity a bit so the only decision to take is get John Bush Back in Anthrax!
I attended an Anthrax gig in Munich with only about 200 people there but J.Bush ripped the place apart like it was Madison Square Gardens!

I was priviledged to see Anthrax in Manchester in 2004 with Bush as frontman. I was there when he staged right off the top of the speaker stack literally above me! It was the most immense gig experience and one which I will take with me to my grave.
If there’s any justice in the world, John Bush will rejoin Anthrax permanently – they’re a much poorer band without him.

They had some mighty fine groovin’ on the We’ve Come For You All and that album did not get its justice, especially since the reunion came about and cut it short. I have listened to Thrax for a long time, and never thought Joey could be replaced, but when Sound of White Noise came out, and I watched as they kicked everyones ass at the Stone in San Francisco to support that album, it was and still is evident that BUSH BELONGS IN ANTHRAX.

I’ve have listened and enjoyed Anthrax’s music when they first started. The Belladonna era was good, but when John Bush joined the team his presence elevated Anthrax’s music to ungodly cool super metal. He is undoubtedly one of the best heavy metal singers of all time, and not having him as a singer is a major detriment to the band. To quote a famous line,”There can only be one!” John Bush is the one and only for the band!!!!

I was at sonisphere just to see anthrax and it was better than I could ever have anticipated. Cost me £150 just to get in for them. Anthrax as a band have the dream team of musicians in the band as far as I’m concerned, bush rejoining would make them the best band on the fucking planet, with Belladonna it was fun but with Bush it’s just right. That sonisphere gig was one of the best shows I’ve ever been too and I’ve been gigging since Donington ‘92. Bush is right to be fucked off but to be honest….. John you owe it to metal to complete this truly epic lineup!

John Bush has done great work by Armored Saint and Anthrax. But i don’t think he should be the new singer again. Not that he can’t do a good job; but the same reasons that ended his reign will come again. I believe Sebastian Bach who could have replaced Bruce Dickinson in iron maiden; listen to his version of “Children of the Dammed”, is the right singer for Anthrax. He has the vocal range to sing the early Turbin/Belladonna stuff and also can bring into the street like John Bush.
In addition he has stated that fistful of metal is one of his favorite albums and also loves the riffs to among the living. He has good relations with anthrax and that will make for smooth transition.

why fuck about wasting 10 years of Anthrax doing reunions, shitting on Bush making him feel unwanted, hiring another vocalist for a year, and then begging Bush back. Bush was always the best anyway. We could have had several cds of new material if Anthrax wasn’t so busy fucking up everything that made the band good. If it ain’t broke then don’t try to fix it Scott!
Totally agree with Chris Ward. We’ve come for you all was the best Anthrax release and one of my favourite metal cds of all time. Why o why did Anthrax ruin the momentum and put a huge spanner in the works for so long after this. Bush was the best and is the best. Do what’s right Scott Ian get on your knees and beg Bush back.

Having seen Anthrax many times, the best show I’ve ever seen was the Chicago / Metro show where they filmed Music of Mass Destruction. Just an unbelievable atmosphere – band and crowd were on fire. Bring Back Bush!

The fact is Anthrax had two awesome singers in both Belladonna and Bush. Joey for whatever reason jumped ship, and John didn’t deserve the back burner treatment. I would welcome Bush back as long as he understood that the reunion tour with Joey had to take place for the fans. John Bush has got one hell of a throat on him and can belt out with the best of them. I would love for them to rerecord Bush’s vocals onto the new album, the material I did hear was a mother fucker of an album. Get it done guys, leave the past, welcome the future, and leave those stages burning. Mosh it up!!!

Bush is the man! I have been into Anthrax since Spreading the Disease was released and I love all the classic Belladonna albums. I saw them on the reunion tour playing Among the Living in its entirety at the Pound in San Francisco. It kicked major ass and all of us old school fans love them for doing it, but lets face it, it felt like a novelty act. I love the Joey years but Bush is one of the best metal vocalists of all time. The only way for this band to be creatively viable again is to get Bush back in the band. They know it, the fans know it, hell even dogs and cats know it! So quit dickin’ around Scott, Charlie, and Frankie, and make nice with Bush… but not too nice cuz we need him to be good and pissed off when he lays down the vocals for the next ‘Thrax album!!!

I remember meeting you guys back in 2000 in Chico, CA. at the Brick Works where you signed by guitar and drank Starbucks with me and my then wife.John Bush is one hell of a singer and a nice guy too. I think your best bet is to bring him back into the band and go for that Sound of white noise style again.That was one hell of a killer album with John.
