Linkin Park Post New Track Footage
The headliners of this year’s Sonisphere festival have posted footage of them working on a brand new track. Get your Sonisphere tickets here!
As we previously reported, Linkin Park will be providing the soundtrack to Optimus Prime kicking some robot ass in the new Transformers movie, ‘Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen’.
The track will be called ‘New Divide’ and will be available on iTunes as of May 18th. See the footage of the band working on the track here.

Sonisphere will be headlined by Metallica and Linkin Park and will take place on August 1st – 2nd at Knebworth. Also on the bill will be Nine Inch Nails, Bullet For My Valentine, Avenged Sevenfold, Machine Head, Lamb Of God, Alice In Chains, Mastodon, Anthrax, Airbourne, Thin Lizzy, Killing Joke and The Sword.

Metal Hammer, may I just ask why you are still giving updates on what Linkin Park are doing? They are a pop band and nothing more than a pop band, a bad pop band at that. If you are bringing us updates on Linkin Park why aren’t you giving us updates on Pink? Pink is just as metal as Linkin Park and her tunes have better riffs. FACT!!

p.s Bezer your blink 182 prediction last podcast for the sonisphere sub headliner slot is now unlikely as they are touring in the US with (ugh) Fall out boy and weezer between July and october

Another announcement next monday again, hopefully the sub headliner, or atleast some of the other bigger bands and not just more shitty 3rd stage bands (with the exception of cancers bats of course
