Interesting that some people have already perceptively commented that music fans constantly slag-off bands – even making personal comments about members - but the moment someone in a band makes similar comments, they are destroyed for it. What do YOU think?
“People might associate us with Avenged Sevenfold because they’re pissed republicans and ‘so metal’, but they’re a gimmick, they’re a circus. They can play but they can’t write songs. What’s worse is the way they look. If you need to have make-up and crappy names like Synyster Gates to sell records, then you shouldn’t be here. That’s not rock’n’roll to me. Arena rock maybe, but not real rock’n’roll. If you’re basing yourself on how cool you are or how many girls you can trick into thinking your band is cool you can just… take that home.”

haha wow, underoath is saying that a7x look stupid, underoath are a bunch of emo kids who can’t play instruments for their life, no one in underoath compares to anyone in a7x. This Tim dude needs to think before he speaks, he sucks at guitar, and his band sucks also.
You guys are on crack! Trying to say they cant play there instruments? Yeah ok I am guessing you have never been behind a drum set and tried to play what aaron does! Hey dudes! so basically what went down was metal hammer twisted what Tim said. it says up in the Article that its in context so it doesn’t show everything he was talking about or how it was brought up. and some of the things he was quoted on he never even said. Tim was in no way trying to bash Avenged Sevenfold, Escape the Fate or Metallica. so theirs no need to get all worked up. everything’s chill.

underoath are the greatest.. anyone that says they can’t play there instruments is a douche. i dont like A7x.. but i’m not gonna shred there instrument playing you fag
maybe read tims blog on underoaths myspace before you judge. x
underoath cant even see high enough at a7x!!! cuz they are way above them and underoath is left in the dust cuz there all ugly and look homeless
