I’m not surprised. Bruce Dickhead has always been up himself- nice of Steve Harris to apologise though. Ozzy as a vocalist and person comes across as more interesting and genuine.

When two musicians slag each other off they generally both end up looking like tossers.

Both Ozzy and Bruce should realise that they both have a large number of fans who are also fans of the other and to come out slagging each other off is just as disrespectful to the fans as it is to the other artist. If i pay good money to see Iron Maiden i dont want to have Bruce telling me how he doesnt like Ozzy and vice versa.

Sharon may be a good business woman but for as far back as I can remember you can’t read anything about Ozzy without her name coming up. She should just do her job & keep out of the press/public eye. She’s done Ozzy no favours in that respect.

I saw an interview with Bruce not so long ago where he was talking about how him and Ozzy were having a laugh in a bar on tour once- so they HAVE spoken in the past. It doesn’t surprise me that Ozzy wouldn’t remember it. He’s probably only saying this now because it has taken 5 years for the story to penetrate the residual drugs haze around his brain.

to be fair, maiden have had a hard time in america over the years, its not been as easy for them over there as it has been in europe. So when they get booked on one of the biggest touring festivals in america, why go on stage an start slagging the guy who invited you along? makes no sense what so ever.

Ozzy will believe anything Sharon tells him. I didn’t once hear that Bruce used Ozzy’s name. I even read Zak Wilde’s comments that he hated Bruce because he was dissn’ the American flag. Such old news now. Why is it being dragged up again? Besides, so what if Bruce said some derogatory things. Pelting the band with eggs and messing with the sound was just plain childish. On the subject of Ozzfest it hasn’t been cutting edge in the last few years, and the current bill at the O2 is okay but you know it could be better with possibly Skindred the only band that will really take advantage from the exposure.

The reason Ozzy’s broke his silence on the incident now is because the interviewer asked him about it. Nothing to do with Ozzy needing publicity. I love both Ozzy and Bruce, Maiden and Sabbath, and don’t feel the need to slag either off.
