Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian joined Anvil onstage at this year’s Golden Gods & DevilDriver owned all who stood before them. It’s been a hell of a night!
Scott Ian has joined Anvil onstage at this year’s Metal Hammer Golden Gods for a run through ‘Metal On Metal’!
Earlier on this evening, Saxon showed their punk rock side by defying the rules and adding an extra song to their setlist (full Saxon setlist: ‘Betallions Of Steel’, ‘Heavy Metal Thunder’, ‘Demon Sweeny Todd’, ‘Princess Of The Night’), while DevilDriver continued their recent run of incredible success with a cracking set. ‘Clouds Over California’ was pure mayhem!

I couldn’t even hear Scott Ian’s guitar. It was as if he wasn’t plugged in at all. And watching him rock out like that with no sound made him look gay.
