Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo has confirmed to Classic Rock magazine that he still expects the thrash titans to invade UK shores this month for their forthcoming tour.

“We did have to put out of a Canadian tour with Megadeth because of Tom’s situation,” says Lombardo. “But, as far as I’m aware, the British shows will go ahead. Of course, Tom’s health must take priority. However, he’s making good progress, so we’ll see everyone soon!”

A weel to go, excitement is reaching fever pitch and me and my friend are more than excited to hear this news. A real butt-releaser of a statement. They made no comments before pulling out of Canada (correct me if I’m wrong), so this positive news, indeed.
