Slipknot Man Joins Will Haven
A member of Slipknot joins one of the most underrated bands of the past 15 years.
Slipknot percussionist Chris Fehn will be playing bass for Sacramento post-hardcore heroes Will haven on their forthcoming album. It’s also expected that Fehn will tour with the band until the Slipknot juggernaut begins to power up again.
A statement from Will Haven reads:
“Mike Martin has had to step away from the band to take care of his family which some of you have known he has not been able to tour with us the past few tours, so we have been just moving on without a bass player in the past few months working on this new record. Well, I am happy to say we have found our new bass player and we are more than excited about it, Our long-time brother and close friend Chris Fehn (Slipknot) has joined the family. He is here with us tonight recording for the new demo and already has had tons of imput making this record even more amazing, So we are more than stoked to have him with us. Slipknot is taking some extended time off while they concentrate on side projects but when they are ready to work on the new record Chris will be right back to work with them. Until then we will be recording the new record and playing shows in US and Europe.”
If you don’t own El Diablo, WHVN or Carpe Diem then you need to rectify that shit, right now. The Hierophant is pretty kick ass too.
A new Will Haven album is expected to emerge in the late part of this summer.

WHVN and Carpe Diem were awesome, hierophant was decent although lacking Grady’s vocals

I dunno, I think I liked Jeff’s vocal’s as much as Grady’s. Heirophant seemed to have a bit more of a thicker ‘muscular’ sound to compliment Jeff’s voice compared to Grady’s more feral, higher pitched scream. Both quality vocalists though (am I about the only person who really dug Red tape’s Roadrunner album?).
